This paper studies a kind of projectiles with big caliber and designs the control system of it. The research includes several parts as follow:Firstly, it analyzes simple control scheme of the ballistic trajectory and applies the scheme of GPS and mini-electromechanical actuator to projectile's control system; It builds the vertical and lateral transfer functions based on the linear differential equation ;It designs The PID controller of the vertical loop and analyzes the stability and dynamic performance before and after being corrected.Secondly, according to the situation that the pneumatic coefficients are non-linear and time-variable in the projectile's flight, the fuzzy PID controller control method is used to design the vertical loop of the projectile, the simulation is done to compare the performance of the fuzzy PID controller and usual PID controller ,the result of simulation indicates that the fuzzy PID controller is well adapted to the pneumatic coefficients which are non-linear and time-variable.At last, the optimization algorithm called PSO is used to optimize the parameters of the controller of the projectile's vertical loop. The simulation is done to the control system with optimized parameters in MATLAB. By comparing and analyzing performance of the control system between optimized parameters and not-optimized parameters, the simulation's result shows that the performance of the system with optimized parameters is improved. The optimization method is useful for parameters optimization.
