For realizing the simple control of gliding extended range projectile, the first step is to measure the attitude angle of the body. For the yaw angle is very small in the process of fly, it can be neglect. In this paper, based on simulation model of three degrees of freedom gyroscopic, the method of measure the pitch and roll angle is studied. First, on the basic of the particle movement theorem and momentum theorem of rigid body, six degrees of freedom motion equations of the gliding extended range projectile are built. And on the basic of Euler movement equations, mechanical gyroscope movement equations are built. Then, on conditions of gliding extended range projectile flying with slow rotate speed or with no rotate speed, the result of mechanical gyroscope model is compared with the result of six degrees of freedom motion equations on ideal condition. On the two different conditions, the effect for measure results of friction torque, static torque, dynamic torque and momentum moment of gyroscope rotor are analyzed, and mechanical gyroscope drift is studied. The parameter of gyrounits is optimized, on both conditions. At the end of this paper, a simple mathematical amendatory method is mentioned to reduce measure error for pitch and roll angle of the body..
