As one of the most important parts of intelligent transport system, Intelligent Vehicleis a complex system integrated with a sense of environment, planning decision andmulti-classes auxiliary driving. It has greatly and widely applied to many domains such asthe military, home and space. This paper takes some researches on the control system ofIntelligent Vehicle and develops one system based on path-planning.This paper briefly introduces the current status home and aboard related withIntelligent Vehicle. It also shows some basic functions of its control system and gives onedesign plan on the whole system and all functional modules. In addition, it particularlyintroduces the design and implementation of the upper machine system and lowermachine system of Intelligent Vehicle. The upper machine system deals with the pathwith AutoCAD, which is the secondary development tool. The lower machine systemchooses Sunplus SPCE061A as CPU of the system.This paper focuses on the path-process of Intelligent Vehicle and the control ofstepping motor. Path-planning adopts AutoCAD as the secondary development tool. Theuser can start AutoCAD, open/draw path diagrams, and pick up the initial diagram of thecar's path, and gets the offset and turn angle data after path process. Motor controlchooses Sunplus SPCE061A as CPU of the system and drivens the stepping motor withthe open loop system.The Intelligent Vehicle Control System in this paper is one trial applying mechanismCAD/CAM technologies to intelligent control domains. It can track anyobstacle-avoidance path. It plays a great part in the research and application of IntelligentVehicle Control System.
