With the rapid development of the economy in China, the construction of high way is increasing evidently. High filling or deep excavations of subgrad are very common in Mountainous areas. Just because of the settlement of High filled sub-grade is larger, lasts longer time than common ones, and requests highly bearing capacity of the foundation, so the study to construction settlement and post construction settlement of high filled sub-grade is quite important.The geomaterials is very complex, due to it, the elasticity or plasticity models can't characterize the geomaterials behavior. So it is necessary to consider of the rheology of geomaterials.Using the Subgrad settlement monitoring in Freeway as the applied engineering background, several aspects of the matter has been done in this paper, which is studied by the methods of on-site experiment, theoretical analysis and numerical calculation. It is listed as follows:(1) This paper has carried on preliminary analysis and discussion to the geomaterials medium rheology mechanics model theory, and establish constitutive equations of setting up some kinds of linear viscoelasticity models, and derive the corresponding creep equation and relax the equation in view of the above.(2) Methods about disposal of settlement monitoring and notice things in scene are discussed in detail via the settlement monitoring data in Ling Nan Freeway. And the data is analyzed using regression model via Least Square Method. The rule of Subgrad settlement summed up.(3) The numerical simulation of the process of Subgrad settlement is carried out on the project sample represented by virtual zones using elasto-plastic model. As a result, the paper finds that, the elasto-plastic model can properly simulate the Subgrad settlement process during the construction, but can not simulate the process of post-settlements. So in virtue of back analysis method of displacement, the rheology parameters of the groundsill are obtained. Subsequently, the numerical simulation using visco-elasto-plastic model is carried out, the results calculated using visco-elasto-plastic model run to the entire monitoring list. (4) To the long calculating time in Fast Lagrangian Analysis of Continua procedure, the paper makes use of network-algorithm to found a model mapping the relation from the parameters of foundation to the settlement list. On theory of uniform experimental design, the model of network-algorithm is found. In virtue of this model, the rheology parameters of the groundsill are got finally.
