Arch doorflame scaffold got more and more extensive application inthe construction process for its advantages such as light weight, simpleoperation, less steel consumption and the repeated use of the capacity. Butthis kind of scaffold had serious safety problems because its structural style,assembling method and the manufacture of installation kit cann't reachnational or industry standard. The scaffold's behavior of the ultimatebearing capacity and stability was studied through security reasons.1,The kind of the load and its limit of the arch doorflame scaffold weregiven according national scaffold techenical standards. Take thestandard scaffold for instance, we summed up the computationalmethod of the stability of the scaffold and the height of the operation.2,The model of three bays-six floors scale scaffold was erectedaccording the characteristic of arch doorflame scaffold such as thematerial and the method of the operation in the current buildingmaterial market. FEA software ANSYS was applied to calculate theseveral different operating mode. We indicated the advantages anddisadvantages of different operating mode on the basis of the samemember bar's stress and strain in different operating mode. And thetwo experimental results proved the validity of the theoretic modeland the computational method. 3,The model of three bays-six floors scale scaffold erected waspromoted to the height and width. And the scaffold's behavior of theultimate bearing capacity was studied .4,By comparing the experimental results with the theoretic results, theeffective technical measure of operating of the arch doorflamescaffold was indicated.Research result of this paper provide scientific basis for the manufacture and the application of the arch doorflame scaffold.
