The thesis is based on Unattended Ground Sensor (UGS) technique.The main functionof the moving target detecting system is to detect the seismic signal from the movements oftargets by seismic sensors, to abstract the feature of seismic signal and then to identify andlocate the target, at last, to show the locating result and give the alarm. The research hasgreat applicational value both in military and civil fields.Firstly, the property of seismic wave is analysed and the principle of seismic sensor isintroduced in the thesis.De-noising the acquired signal in wavelet method and analysingthe denoised signal in time domain, frequence domain and time-frequence domain. Thealgorithm is simulated in Matlab environment and the feature of signal is abstracted. Thesignal is analysed in zero-passing method in time domain and person can be distinguishedfrom vehicle. Single person and multi-person can be further distinguished from accordingto the power spectrum density estimation.In the thesis multi-sensor array is adopted to locate the target and the locationalgorithm is based on Time Differerce of Arrival (TDOA) theory which is estimated inbispectrum method. The de-noising, locating and tracing algorithm procedure is designedin C language. And the results are displayed on the platform of LabVIEW.Because of mass data and complex logic control, Complex Programmable LogicDevice (CPLD) is used to control the sampling and preprocessing of the seismic signal. Inthis thesis CPLD mainly realizes the combination of the data, the controlling logic ofAnalog/Digital conversion, UART serial communication between the data acquisitionsystem and nRF24E1.In practical application, wireless communication is necessary. In the thesis wirelesscommunication system is designed based on the wireless transceiver nRF24E1 which sendthe data acquired by CPLD via RS232 serial port to computer for further data processing.
