The artillery fire precision and denseness are the artillery important technical specification, and they are also the technical difficult problem to solve. In order to analyze the relations between the artillery system vibration and the accuracy of fire and denseness, we must establish the artillery dynamics model to analyze its vibration characteristics.with the laboratory vibration data acquisition system and mode analysis software .in this article,we mainly do mode experiment to the artillery entity to obtain the mode parameters; The three dimension CAD model of the system is created in solid works then imported in ansys, In which ,it modifies disfigurements ,creates the entity model and the particular finite element model of the artillery.and then we calculate the results by the finite element analysis. Finally, compare with the two results,to find out they are compatible or not. Then, by ansys,The model analysis of the artillery system both at free-free condition and at real constraint condition is performed . The first ten order modes and frequencies of the artillery system are obtained. The inherent relation between the constraints and the natural frequencies of the artillery system is analyzed. By increasing ribs and the thickness of pillars at the bottom of artillery system ,the stiffness of the artillery system skirt is improved, and the natural frequencies are increased.Through experiment and finite element analysis,on one hand,it builds up the foundation for the understanding and the application of mode analysis,on the other hand, the results can be the theoretical foundation for the change of structure dynamical characteristics.
