Next we discussed the economic purpose and the economic function and significance of Earthquake resistant especially the Code for seismic design of special structures. This paper raise that the economic purpose is pursuing the most benefit of reduce calamity and the economic significance is that it supports sustainable development of national economy.And this paper brought forward a new way for economic estimate named the method for economic estimate basing on benefit of reduce calamity. What means the comparison of pay of reduce calamity which is in the cost of special structures and behalf of reduce calamity which means the decrement of earthquake loss is exactly the benefit of reduce calamity that we can use to make an economic estimate for the recension of the Code for seismic design of special structures and the active Code.Final this paper do some calculate work of pipe supports,reinforced concrete bent structures,boiler frame,atmospheric fixed vertical cylindrical tank,spherical tank,bullet type tank foundation and concentration tank these 7 kinds of special structures to find the benefit of reduce calamity of them for economic estimate for the recension of the Code for seismic design of special structures and the active Code. And this way fits the scene that is in a large range and needs not a precision numerical value just as the Code and some similar projects.
