The technology of virtual instrument is a new generation technology of instrument that has been developed in these years. It can change the fault of the conventional instrument which is short of nimble and has high cost. It makes use of the computer to simulate many functions of the traditional instrument. So we needn't put into more hardware to finish many functions such as analysis and demonstration based on computer.In recent years, simulation and imitation play a more important role on the safety research of nuclear reactor; complex system and high reliability request for operator are the typical demand of reactor. Although full size simulator of nuclear reactor has been put into use in past many years and applied in many fields such as training for operator and visiting, its expensive price makes many reactors of researching field stop their paces.With the fast development of information technology, now multi-media simulation system based on high quality workstation or PC gets more and more recognition. This system localizes the computer and needn't the hardware and it cutts down the price of exploitation clearly. Furthermore, it has other merits such as installation and modification easily. But with the limitation of the development of two techniques that are kernel physical calculation model and advanced computer simulation technology, in China this system is just starting and of course with the help of foreign countries in recent years.My paper based on the Sodium Cooled kernel physical calculation program -OASIS which has been mastered and applied in all transient conditions about CEFR and the technology of virtual instrument. It is intended to study and develop an intact dynamic simulation system of China Experimental Fast Reactor (CEFR). The key point of this study is to study two respects; one is the interface that strides two kinds of platform on UNIX and Windows. The other is the data demonstration about kernel physical calculation program -OASIS on the client terminal. After the detail study and development, the dynamic simulation system of CEFR is preliminary finished and could be satisfied to simulate the functions of instantaneous analysis about CEFR by multi-media simulation software of client, of course it can also be presented to the visitors.
