With the expanding of modern power system, more and more attention has been paid to the optimization of power system, the research and application of voltage and reactive power optimization has received a tremendous economic benefits. Now the ShengLi Oilfield have been in the period of high moisture content and high costs of development, and the cost of electricity has accounted for one-third of the total cost. By the optimal operation of oilfield power system, the network losses can be reduced, the economic efficiency will be increased, the electrical equipment should play a more conducive to the normal effects, meet the requirement of power quality of oilfield electricity users. This article discusses a method of the optimizing of voltage and reactive. The whole system optimal can be decomposed into two parts as active and reactive by the weak coupling of active and reactive in our power system. The calculation can be simplified by the interval optimization to the flow of active and reactive. To improving the convergence properties, we change the step according to the ratio of the maximum error voltage to the Maximum gradient components at first. When the target function approach the optimal solution , we change to the method of Linear Search. To solve the optimization problem of 24 hours or a day, the optimization can be decomposed into several Period, Then optimize of each period separately. If there is one or some periods that doesn't meet the qualification, we decompose the period of the lowest qualification of voltage and optimize it until achieve the optimal operational plan to meet the constraints of the whole day.In this article, a satisfactory result has been carried out by the voltage and reactive power grid optimization of ShengLi Oilfield.
