Because of over loading, operating at high speed and enduring huge impulsion, compared with characteristic signal and fault conditional signal of other components in gear boxes, these of rolling bearings of harbor machine is weaker. Furthermore they often submerge, it is very difficult to abstract characteristic (fault) information. For example of envelope, those traditional methods are based on Fourier Transform. This method is a entire transform of signal which is linear and stationary. It isn't changed along with time. Therefore, it is very hard to use these methods to abstract the vibrating characteristic information of rolling bearings. The dissertation devotes to analysis of vibrating signal based on the analysis and estimate about vibrating status of key bearings in the #804, #805, #806 and #807 quayside container cranes and trolleys of Shanghai Pudong International Container Terminals Co., Ltd(SPICT).Based on discussing Hilbert-Huang Transform (HHT), the' dissertation combines HHT and energy spectrum. It also develops computer software about processing and analyzing vibrating signal upon MATLAB. Compared with envelope, it is more effective that the dissertation uses HHT and the energy spectrum to abstract important information of vibrating signal of rolling bearings on the background of strong vibration.Based on abstracting weak characteristic imformation of rolling bearings successfully, the dissertation uses HHT to research the extractive technique about mechanical vibration of trolley tracks of quayside container. The characteristic imformation of joint and failure is very obvious by researching. This technology is a new method in the estimation about deterioration and fault condition of trolley tracks.
