With natural gas for raw material of gas-steam combined cycling power-generating technique, is being called the highly advanced technology in modern equipment manufacture field. Comparing with the traditional coal-burned generating units, it has many advantages, such as higher efficiency in power supply, lower invest, the developments period is short, covering the area is small, economize with the water, good capability for adjust grid peak value and environment protection etc. Currently, there are only five or six enterprises in world have the ability in the design and manufacture technology for heavy-duty gas-steam combined cycling power-generating equipment.In China, the relative production is mainly rely on import before at Chinese and Foreign joint venture manufacture the gas turbine core parts and whole machine equipments. In order to quickly develop the step in F class gas turbine power station, under " change the technique with the market" of the policy guides, China completed a large quantity bidding and purchase of main equipment for large gas turbine power station through the " bundle invite public bidding" in the world, via local manufactory and main important gas turbine manufactory in abroad become" unite" form, gradually realizes the progress which national produce the gas turbine.With the gas turbine power station put into production and running, study the characteristics of the gas turbine power station, accumulating the experience of design and operation, gradually realizes national product, is becoming a question for discussion to each electrically engineers who are concern about the development for our country gas turbine business .Aiming at solving the problems as mentioned, the paper taking the 109 F class gas turbine from General Electric Company in United States as an example, study some problems in the design,operation and application which were based on the electrical control for gas turbine power station . The paper's work can be divided into three aspects: Firstly, based on the electrical control system(ECS) of traditional coal-burned generating units, according the characteristic of electrical control in the gas turbine power station, design the ECS control system of the gas turbine power station, meet the actual demand for gas turbine power station in its project;Secondly, aiming at its still belong to the blank and first applied in the local technique field ,the Excitation Control system EX2100 and Load Commutated Inverter system LCI were detail studied in the paper, analyzed its technique characteristics. The paper modified the project from the unit running set,increasing system stability etc, and get the good apply in actual process,Thirdly, study the characteristics of Automatic Quasi-Synch in gas turbine power station, we can understand the latest design and control way in the world from designing the interface signal between DCS and analyzing its control logic and equipment status. It will help the local market exploit self knowledge- property right production in this field.
