This paper carried out detailed analysis and research on the principle of variable frequency speed control, on the characteristics of the technology application, on the characteristics of oil-transportation system operated in 300MW coal-fired unit boiler and the problems existed in this system. In the end, the feasibility of applying the technology (variable frequency speed control) on oil-transportation system in 300MW unit was tested.Simultaneously, considering the probably existing problems in the technical reform (applying the technology of variable frequency speed control on oil-transportation system), such as harmonics and variable frequency/line frequency switching in oil pump, this paper combined the theoretical analysis of harmonics, the extra-stimulus analysis in switching and practical situation, and then put forward solutions to control harmonics and to switch variable frequency/line frequency.Based on the work above mentioned, this paper scheduled detailed reform plan to keep the end pressure constant using the technology of variable frequency speed control, and tested it in a 300MW unit in Jiaxing Power Plant. The reform showed it can notably promote energy-saving, improve the reliability of oil transportation system and the level of automatic control, as well as control harmonics.Finally, this paper concluded the normal inspection and maintenance items and manners on frequency conversion equipment, and pointed out several representative faults probably existed after reform and corresponding diagnosing and treatment.
