Swage Autofrettage have wide range of applications in the production process of barrel. This paper designed the thick-walled cylinder from actual ratio of high pressure barrel and swage refer to empirical data. The experiment devices of mechanical autofrettage was erected based on the thick-walled cylinder and swage, driven by hydraulic pump station, while the measurement system with PXI instruments was established for strain, swage displacement and force. The experiment of swage autofrettage used a total of 33, six groups of thick-walled cylinders, so did the re-yield pressure experiment and the experiment of re-yield pressure after stabilized. The re-yield pressure of re-yield pressure after stabilized experiment is higher than autofrettage experiment. Combined experiment data with hydraulic autofrettage formula, calculated residual stress of tangential, which provided an important reference for intensity design of barrel. The model of pressure analyses was established, calculated the swage force based on the formula of Pan ligong, and the absolute value of error is less than 10%, which provide a reference for engineering application.
