With the development of the power electronic device manufacturing technology,converter technology,control technology,micro-computers and large-scale integrated circuits, Electric Transmission Technology facing a historical revolution. AC variable speed to replace DC and digital control technology to replace analog control technology has become a trend. Variable Frequency Control Speed technology as a high-tech and energy efficiency technologies, and have penetrated into all areas of the economy in the technology sector. So high-performance, low-cost Frequency Control System on the development of the national economy has played a big role, it is the research and development direction of electric power transmission.In this paper a high-performance AC inverter control device is developed based on dual-CPU, The device is designed on basic principles of variable frequency control speed of induction motor and the theoretical of the space vector voltage pulse width modulation (SVPWM), IGBT power modules used as a switching device in the main circuit of AC-DC-AC voltage-type inverter. The system uses 80C196KC SCM + TMS320F240 DSP as dual-CPU architecture, The DSP can finish vector control task with high real time requirement, and a 16-bit SCM can finish manage task with low real-time requirement such as display and man-machine interface. the two CPU communication through the dual-port RAM. The hardware and software in this system are Introduced. The device has soft-start and soft shutdown function.The frequency converter has simply control, less peripheral circuit. We have finished the principle prototype, And has carried on the unloaded experiment in the real ore by drawing the electrical machinery.The experimental result shows: This device exports waves in harmony of the electric current distorted less,high efficiency of the voltage than sinusoidal pulse width modulation (SPWM),lower switching loss,high performance and low price, which can meet the mine performance requirement of exchanging frequency converter of the transmission.
