Thermal power plant is a establishment about generate electricity and power transform. It use pulverizer, boiler and steam turbine to change chemical energy into mechanical energy, and then use dynamotor to change mechanical energy into electrical energy. Then we use step-up transformer to enhance the voltage of dynamotor and transmit the power to consumer or power system buy transmission line.The electrical equipments in thermal power plant have two parts: Primary Equipment and Secondary Equipment. We always take producing, transporting and distributing equipment into Primary Equipment. The high voltage electrical circuit which denotes the connection of Primary Equipment is Primary circuit. Primary circuit is the principle part in Thermal power plant' s electrical design. It' s the hinge of guaranteeing the reliability of power supply, economic, power quality, and infecting the investment of electrical party.This paper take the follow aspects to complete the design and project compare for ZhengXiong power plant.First, chose the electric main connection. Arguing and chose the main connection, comparing the future scheme with now scheme of 500kV and 220kV main connection, comparing main transformer choose and connection transformer' s form and their connection mode then choose a best connection mode.Second, design electrical auxiliary system. Statistic the load of electrical auxiliary system, choose the transformer of auxiliary system, compare the 6kV connection mode, confirm the voltage level, disposal mode of auxiliary system and choose equipment.Third, choose Emergency Power Supply System. Statistic the load of Emergency Power Supply System, confirm the capacity of standby dynamo, choose the connection of Emergency Power Supply System.Four, choose the electric equipment. According relative information and establishing the impedance chart of short cut calculation, calculating the short current and then choose the equipment such as transformer, breaker and so on.Five, dispose the equipment. Disposal of equipment conclude beside and inside of factory house and the disposal of step-up substation. The hinge of that is comparing the disposal of 500kV field.Sixth, design overvoltage protected and grounding. Choose the mode of overvoltage protected to main equipment and main factory, choose the protecting equipment and its disposal.Seventh, design illumination and examine network. Confirm task illumination, accident illumination and evacuation illumination. Choose the supply mode.Eighth, design cable establishment. Confirm the principle of choose cable. Confirm the path of cable laying and fireproofing establishment.
