IC-engine vibration signal is the information cartier of IC-engine working conditon and fault sympton.Furthermore,as main analyzing and testing measurement, vibration signals were untilized 20 years ago,and series of important engine testing research works were completed based on vibration signals. With the grapidly development of computer and software technique, virtual instrument has became the trend of vibration test.In this thesis, vibration test development in China and in foreign countries, the concept of Virtual Instruments and the composition of LabVIEW software development platform were introuduced.then, the IC-engine vibration measuring and signal analyzing technology were deeply studied. Some non-stationary signal analysis and processing methods, which were utilized in the engine vibration signals analyzing, such as Short Time Fourier Transform,Winger-Ville Distribution and ZOOM FFT technique were reviewed.Based on virtual Instrument's Multi-channels vibartion signals testing and analysis system was developed,it take PC machine as the main hardware, the LabVIEW development platform of the American Nation Instrument as the software development platform, coordinated the essential sensors, the electric charge amplifier and high-performance PCI-1714 data acqusiation,The software mainly consists of the real time data acqusiation of engine vibration signals module, the amplitude analysis module, time domain analysis module, frequency domain analysis module, combined time and frequency domain analysis. In a word, this software offers a powerful tool for the analysis of IC-Engina Vibration signal and enhances the efficency of engine signal analysis a lot.
