| The air filter has a great effect on the performance of the internal combustion engines, so to build a test system for the air filter has become an essential thing. The testing-system has been established to test the performance of air filter in this thesis, which will provide the important information to judge and to improve the performance of the air filter.In this thesis, the virtual instrument technology has been applied in the testing system computer-controlled for the air filter, which can acquire and process the data through the Lab VIEW software platform, so as to achieve the purpose of evaluation for the performance of air filter.First of all, the design of the overall program has come out. According to the accuracy, portability, universality, the objective function of the test system has been proposed. It is identified that the test has been put on the intake resistance, filtration efficiency and storage capacity according to the performance indicators of the air filter, and the specific control method is proposed. And then, the working principle of the test system and the control method are confirmed in accordance with the mandate and means of control, and it is introduced how to acquire and process the data specifically.Secondly, the design of the hardware for the test system has been put up. There are mainly automatic dust system, flow transmitter, motor, pump, data acquisition cards and so on in the hardware configuration.Finally, the overall planning of the control parts for the test system has been put up. Using Lab VIEW the graphical programming software, the testing system has been established specifically, such as data acquisition, data processing, signal conditionning and signal sampling, and it is illustrated specifically about the system interface in this thesis.In this thesis, the innovations are: achieving a quantitative continuous supply of dust; data acquisition and processing controlled by computer, and improving the efficiency of the test greatly. |
