Hyperspectral imaging is widely used in military and civilian applications because of the rich spatial and spectral information it provides about the scene being imaged in a spectral resolution of a magnitude of nanometer. Fourier Transform Spectroscopy(FTS) is a technology which to get spectrum from inference picture by using the fourier transform. The development of FTS, the research and applying situation in remote sensing field in last 10 years are reviewed and summarized in paper. The essential theory, basic configuration and advantage of Imaging Fourier Transform Spectrometer (IFTS) are analyzed. The imaging theory and the factor of optical path's design of triangle common-path IFTS is especially discussed. Parameters of the design such as the factor of telescopic system, the parameters of the prism and the slit width etc. are designed. And the parameters of the Sagnac Prism which is the key factor of the spectroscopy are tested. The Using the software "ZEMAX",the optical path is designed in computer and the aberration is analyzed. The experiments concerned are performed with it.Finally, the pictures of inference are catched by CCD.
