With the rapid development of China's transportation construction, more and more of the bridge and tunnel project need to build in the western region, due to terrain and linear constraints, we had to adopt such a special bridge and tunnel linked structure, so the research of the construction mechanical characteristics and influence of the different distribution forms of cave to bridge and tunnel linked surrounding rock are of great significance. The concrete research of this paper is as follows:Firstly, the author fully investigated existing data and found out the existent problems in bridge and tunnel linked segment, then determined reasonable research goals.Secondly, according to the Gaoyangzai tunnel of the Yiwan railway, the three-dimensional model is established by using of MIDAS / GTS, and the impact of bridge abutment on the tunnel liner is studied when the cave is in the side of the tunnel.Thirdly, by means of Field test, the rock contact stress, the steel frame stress and the shot concrete stress of representative cross-section are monitored and analyzed, during the excavation of abutment of the mechanical characteristics. The impact of bridge abutment excavating on the tunnel liner is also discussed. At last, By the means of numerical analysis, the surrounding rock deformation, the distrubution rule of the surrounding rock ,the deformation and the stress is researched under the condition of the distinctively distributed way , size ,distance of the karst cave . The effect of the distance between the karst cave and the tunnel ,the size of the karst cave is summarized. This can slso provide some reference to other similar projects.
