| Cold storage is a new energy-saving refrigeration technology utilizing electric power gird resources reasonably. It is now largely applied in air conditioning systems, and its application in refrigeration systems is in progress. With the period-fees of electricity and the increasing shortage of energy around the world, it is much more important to develop the cold storage transport refrigeration equipment. But such factors as the time needed for cold charging and cold discharging, the operation management and the imperfect facilities equipped influence its further development. The critical technical points are studied in this article through the theory combined with experiments on the cold storage transport refrigeration equipment, and the resolutions are explored from the technical methods and application management.From the calculation of the cold charged, the design of the plate ice bank, and experiments involved, cold storage transport refrigeration equipment including mechanical ice tank refrigerator cars and transport cold storage containers are introduced. The critical technical points of ice tank refrigerator cars such as the interior temperature of cars, the selection of cold storage material, the cold charging and discharging characteristics of the ice tank, the factors influencing the cold charging time, and the matching performances of the ice bank refrigeration system are analyzed and studied, and also verified through the experiments, thus providing foundation for the optimization design.The study in the article is based on the design and research of mechanical ice tank refrigerator cars and transport cold storage containers, the data are from the experiments made during the development. The concerned conclusions have been applied in Guangzhou Railway Rolling Works. The above refrigeration equipment operates well. The research of 120km/h mechanical ice tank refrigerator cars was awarded the second-grade reward by China Railway Institute. |
