With the deepening of reform and opening up,people’s living standards have been greatly improved, and people’s demand for food quality is also getting higher and higher.China,as a big apple production,has become the first largest apple producing country around the world in recent years.Due to the lack of scientific management in many parts of the country,the loss of apple is very serious.The storage of apple has become an important problem in the cold chain.In order to study the storage of apple,the distribution of airflow field in cold storage should be studied firstly.With the popularity of computers in China,the simulation software CFD has become an important tool to study the flow field.In this paper,the simulation and experiments are used to study the airflow field of the cold storage.The airflow field between the fruit box and the fruit box is studied in the cold storage.The three-dimensional turbulent flow model was established in this paper.Firstly, Ansys Icem CFD software is used to classify the structural grid and Fluent software is used to calculate the result.Then Tecplot software is used to postprocess.Finally,the content of the simulation part is derived.The focus of simulated part is the distribution of the airflow field when apples are precooled in the cold storage. The boundary conditions in the simulation are measured by experiments.As the airflow field among the fruit boxes are simulated,the inlet boundary condition is replaced of the velocity inlet.In the temperature setting,because the study is the precooling process,Fluent software UDF function is used to create a custom function,as the simulation of the inlet temperature.Custom function is obtained by the experimental method.Arrange a plurality of thermocouples on the entrance,and then record the temperature variations by paperless recorder,eventually obtained the custom function relation that temperature changes with time by polynomial fitting method.In the experiment,the reliability of the simulation is verified by the reasonable arrangement of thermocouple in the flow space of the fruit boxes.While measuring the gas flow field of the fruit boxes,the thermocouple in the fruit box is also reasonably arranged,so as to study the influence of the airflow field on the temperature field of the apple in the box.The results show that the effect of the different arrangement of the fruit box on the airflow in the cold storage is different.When there is no gap between the fruit box and the fruit box,the effect of apple precooling is poor.While there is a gap between apple box and the box,precooling effect of the apple has improved.With the increase of the gap,the flow field distribution becomes more uniform,the speed of apple precooling becomes faster.In this experiment,when the gap length is more than 4cm,the effect on the gas flow field is very small.
