Known as the "transport revolution" of the20th century,the container transport is not only an advanced modern mode of transport,a product and an important symbol of modern transportation,but also development direction of the groceries transport and an important reform in the field of transport.Modernization of the container transport has been an upsurge throughout the world,most countries regard the popularity and development of container transportation as the mark of modernization process,international shipping centre also regard the size of container handling transit as the key measures.Container transport in speeding up the flow of goods,reduce cargo damage,cargo shortage has obvious advantages,but at present the cost of container transport is relatively high,and most of container have low capacity utilization,a 20-foot containers,general utilization rate is about 75%and a 40-foot containers,generally about 82 percent utilization rate.If the goods are not full package,the actual utilization is much lower.Therefore,increasing capacity utilization rate of container box have important practical significance to further reduce transport costs.Based on above,in this paper on the basis of introducing the development and characteristics of container transport,the types of containers,types of container load freight and their packing method,mainly study regular cargo packing optimization and slightly overloaded container packing optimization.In the regular cargo optimization main uses linear programming and dynamic programming methods to establish the optimal model,and are solved through specific examples to further clarify principle of the two planning methods In the case of a container slightly overloading,the main method to optimize planning is object programming also with specific examples to solve.Finally,introduce the containerization of special cargos such as the non-bulk goods,liquid cargo dangerous goods.Practice shows that the research methods can provide reference to regular cargo packing optimization and slightly overloaded container packing optimization but also provides a new thought for future more scientific and more reasonable r container optimization.
