The own systems and networks of power department at all levels of continued to enrich, SCADA / EMS systems, Tele Meter Reading (TMR), relay protection recorded fault management systems, distribution production management system, such as the degree of practical in-depth, automatic Operation personnel ensured the safe and stable operation of system and the network, the workload and complexity of work had also increased significantly, and it is different from the general system of enterprise management systems as a control system, with a special request. Monitoring such system at all times to be concerned about the large number of complex data: the machine room environmental parameters, equipment operation, network traffic, factory data collection status and so on. These enormous amounts of data, scattered distribution, and the different format, understandable poorly. It is no reasonable technical means to supervise and management the real-time operation and security situation of the actual environment, and only through hand-bound system, resulting in low efficiency of system maintenance work. It was time-consuming to the managers seeing the enormous amount of data, and some important information would be left. Administrators easily lost in a lot of running all kinds of data and could not quickly get access to information management and security from these data. Thus a variety of events and failures in the system could not be identified, and be responded in a timely manner, it resulted in a direct impact on exerting the whole system' s performance operation effectively.This paper studies the use of existing technologies (SNMP, SYSLOG, etc.), the automation system distributed around the area was monitored in a comprehensive manner from the machine room environment, equipment and the safe operation of application systems, finding defects the first time, shortening defects processing time, increasing the rate system and so on. At the same time, introducing IT service management theory, normalizing operation automation system, improving the efficiency of the operation and maintenance, securing reliable operation of the automated system were means to secure the safe and stable operation of state grid.The system had been put into operation in the Quzhou electricity power bureau, system stability; it achieved the desired functions and performance indicators to effectively improve the efficiency of the automation systems operation.
