In recent years, the invasion of alien organisms has aroused great concern around the world caused by the ballast water of oceangoing vessels, more than 3000 kinds of marine organisms in ballast water spread of the global every day, to damage marine biological diversity, coastal and coastal ecosystem, the impact of even a threat to the survival of local species, causing local water pollution and endanger the health of local residents. China's offshore and coastal has become a global multi-zone red tide, the ballast water invasion of alien organisms brought serious harm to the marine environment. The ballast water do not meet the international convention are not allowed to discharge in the port by IMO, so the ballast water treatment technology research is urgency, with the national plan support to carry out ballast water purification processing technology of physical research, and hydrocyclone is one of key technologies.Study on the Separation of ballast water to remove particles and organisms, is the use of the centrifugal force and centripetal force generated by current high-speed rotation, and solid materials, organisms and pathogens are isolated. This method can not only remove the majority of multicellular animals and plants, eggs, larvae, conidia (including harmful algal blooms dormant conidia in the mud), but also to remove most of sediment in the ballast bilge.Paper is as follows:1. In accordance with the requirements of the study group, designed for oceangoing ship ballast water hydrocyclone.2. Manufacture hydrocyclone prototype and set up a complete set of test-bed.3. Experimental verification the hydrocyclone separation performance, especially study the effect of the cyclone flotation in combination with the bubble generator.4. Design algaecide experimental systems, and carry out a series of experimental study of algae removal, through the optimization of experimental parameters, to get the best effect of floatation cyclone.5. Use of the FLUENT software, to carry out fluid simulation for the ship ballast water hydrocyclone.
