Research, Based On The Class2 Bus, Car Entertainment Systems

With the development of modern automobile, more and more automotive electronic devices or modules are integrated into vehicle, which requires the high quality of vehicle wire harness layout and information sharing among modules. Therefore vehicle network control plays the important roles of automotive electronic system. People more and more focus on vehicle network control, because the network has good performance, high reliability and low cost. Network control in vehicle is gradually popularization and has been applied in many cars. Network control applied in cars is regarded as one of most foreground applications.Based on analysis of Class2 bus which comes from SAE J1850, this document analyses the features of Class2 bus. With Class2 bus, more than one module could talk to each other, and can share information via bus, which reduces a lot of analog inputs or digital inputs, and reduce the cost. To perform diagnosis via Class2 bus can save much time to find the root cause, and service people need not disassemble and reassemble the car.This document mainly focuses on the Class2 application in vehicle entertainment system and diagnosis on board.
