Magnetorheological Fluid Controlled Intelligent Transmission Mechanism And Design Research

Magneto-rheological fluid (MRF) is a unique intelligent material which has the magneto-rheological effect. The properties of the MRF, such as viscosity and so on, can be controlled by the magnetic field loaded on it. The applications of magneto-rheological technology on damper and shock absorber have been developed, but the applications on transmission are less. The task studies on a kind of Magneto-rheological Fluid Controlled Intelligent Transmission Device which has starting or overloading protection and automatic variable torque speed control, the task also research and analysis the Magneto-rheological Fluid Controlled Intelligent Transmission Device's working mechanism, structure and parameters.Based on analysis the characteristics of magneto-rheological fluids, combined with the mechanism of magneto-rheological effect, the task research on the mechanical properties and dynamic response of the magneto-rheological fluid under the action of magnetic field. After analysis the researches on the magneto-rheological technology domestic and abroad, the task choose and analysis the feasible magneto-rheological transmission device (MRTD) mode by the characteristics of the magneto-rheological transmission. After the program design, confirms the structure parameters and optimizes the magnetic circuit of the MRTD, then analysis the magnetic field intensity by ANSYS. Analysis the torque transmission characteristics of the MRTD and the dynamic response performance of the whole system by setting up the mathematical model of the Magneto-rheological Fluid Controlled Intelligent Transmission Device, it could be the basis of the further research.
