The rare earth permanent materials developed in 1960s.There are numerous applications in many fields. It is important to the modern new technology. With technological development ,the user require to improve magnets quality in shape and dimensions and tolerance .such as radial magnet rings in navigation gyroscope are made of many net shape magnets. The gyroscope accuracy are affected because radial magnet rings surface fields distribute uniform is bad. To improve properties of devices and promote miniature devices and lower weight, we have to develop new produce of radial magnet rings.Radial magnet rings are used to latching devices, passive permanent magnet bearings, linear actuator, klystrons, navigational accelerometer and so on. It is hard to manufacture radial permanent rings. Here were two key questions for radial magnet ring to be resolved. One was fixture for radial aligning field was designed and manufactured. The other was sintered magnets split. The two main reasons constraint radial ring magnet mass productions. Radial magnet rings did not meet client′s demand.Design of radial aligning field and design of fixture and manufacture are key factors to manufacture radial ring magnet. We combined radial aligning field with fixture. Design of radial aligning field is design of fixture and design of magnetic circuit. We discuss design of radial aligning field as following:1 we discuss axial peak field distribute of radial magnetic field and axial magnetic rings according to elector model, axial peak field of radial magnetic rings are higher than that of axial magnetic rings under the same magnetic properties . We compare surface fields of radial magnet rings which are made of radially oriented net shape magnets and parallel oriented magnets respectively. Surface fields asymmetricity of radial magnet rings which are made of radically magnetized net shape magnets is lower than that of radial magnet rings which are made of parallel magnetized magnets .2 We design two fixtures according to principle of design on fixture and radial aligning field .each has its merits and defects. 3 the fixtures are optimized by analytical method.4 ANSOFT software is applied to optimize fixture with radial oriented field to get chart of magnetic field in fixture and magnetic field in air gap. Magnetic field in air gap is more than 652kA/m when voltage reaches1.5kV. we chose a best design and manufacture fixture and manufacture radial magnet ring.
