This paper studies a radial duplex winding permanent magnet bias magnetic bearing andintroduces the structure and the working principle. According to the method of the magnetic circuit,this paper deduces the levitation force formula of the magnetic bearing, and establishes a linearanalytical mathematical model when the rotor is nearly in balance position. On this basis, this paperintroduce the structure design based on the largest bearing capacity and designs the magnetic bearingwith all the parts of size combining with the special magnetic field fem software Ansoft and uses thestator yoke correction coefficient and the rotor yoke correction coefficient to correct the theoreticalcalculation results, rotor axial magnetic resistance is taken into consideration in the calculation of thepermanent magnet size, the more accurate size of permanent magnet based on theoretical calculationresult is got. In this paper, through the electromagnetic field finite element analysis software Ansoft,itresearches the magnetic field performance and the force analysis on the rotor, the simulation resultsshow that the influence of the silicon steel laminated coefficients of the rotor is bigger; When the rotoris in balance position and the different control magnetic field added to the bias magnetic field,theforce on the rotor is linear increase; When the rotor is nearly in balance position, the control magneticfield and the bias magnetic field are decoupling. Finally, according the experiment, this paper studiesthe suspension performance of the radial duplex winding permanent magnet bias magnetic bearingand the experiment results show that: the duplex winding permanent magnet bias magnetic bearingcan realize the rotor rapid and stable suspension with two freedom degrees and the rotor rotates fluent.
