Mechanical presses always use constant motor as driver, and they depend on the instantaneous impact provided by flywheel to press. This kind of presses always has advantages of high load, high speed and high efficiency. But because of the existence of the constant motor and big inertia flywheel, it doesn't have flexibility, and it can't meet the market well.As the development of servomotor and control technology, a press driven by a servomotor can control the displacement and velocity of a punch slide with easy. Therefore, it can provide programmable motion output. And this kind of presses has the advantages of high speed, power saving and easy control, so it can improve the intelligent level of the machine. Different transmission schemes of CNC mechanical presses have been introduced in this article, and all of these are the reference for the design of CNC mechanical presses.To begin with the analysis of transmission schemes of single driving machines, the transmission scheme of single-toggle linkage mechanism is discussed. The characteristics of kinematics and static are analyzed with the help of the software Matlab. And the virtual prototype of this mechanical press is set up with the help of software Pro/E. Then a detailed simulation and optimization is given by using the software ADAMS.Secondly, the transmission scheme of link-hybrid machine is analyzed from the aspects of forward and inverse kinematics. And a kinematics simulation is given using the software ADAMS. On the basis of the kinematical analysis, the equations of the crank's balance moment are studied without considering the friction but considering the inertia of links. And the dynamical model for the machine is developed using Lagrange's formulation. Finally, the there-dimensional full-scale model is set up.Thirdly, the working principle of the transmission scheme of gear-hybrid machine is analyzed and the differential gear train of NGW is studied. Based on this, the concepts of speed amplitude is brought forward and the power distribution equations of the input-output system are established. Then, the there-dimensional full-scale model is established.Fourthly, basing on the same condition, the slide stroke, speed, torque and mechanical advantage of single-driven CNC mechanical presses have been compared. And the transmission schemes of hybrid-driven presses in gear train and linkage have been analyzed from many aspects.
