Mankind need high-rise building structures, but faces with serious threats of earthquake, RC shear wall or RC core wall in dual systems of high-rise buildings are over-big stiffness and insufficient ductility, and undertake excessive shear in multiple fortify system. Therefore, composite coupled shear wall with steel linked-beam was put forward in this paper. The experimental study on the seismic behavior of the shear wall have been presented. The main contents are listed as follow:(1)Based on the summary research results in the past, applying theory such as mechanics, RC structure nonlinear and so on, this paper propose the composite coupled shear wall with steel linked-beam structure experimental plan, and carries on 1 model with 10 floors of shear wall structure with 1/5 scale test in the plan under the low period repeat loading action.(2)According to the experimental phenomenon and the theoretical analysis, the following seismic behavior characters of the specimen have been analyzed: bearing capacity, ductility, hysteresis capacity, energy dissipation and failure phenomena.(3)In order to carry on the earthquake resistance analysis, it needs to be modeling the hysteresis curve which obtain from the laboratory data , enables it more ideally to respond the component the displacement-load relations under the earthquake load action, and considers the strength and the stiffness degenerated rule, according to the tentative data and the regression analysis, this paper proposes the composite coupled shear wall skeleton curve model and the resiliency model.(4)By means of the finite element nonlinear analysis of the shear wall and the comparison between finite element nonlinear analysis results and experimental results, the FEA results are proved rational and corrective simultaneously. And this paper analysis the concrete strength and standard grade of steel, and its effect on bearing capacity and ductility of the shear wall. (5)Based on experimental and theoretical analysis, seismic design suggestion for composite coupled shear wall with steel linked-beam is presented, which may provide references for seismic design.
