Dam Dimensional Consolidation Percolation Model And Dam Stability Analysis

Our country is a great power of mining industry, the industry mine such as the metallurgy industry, nonferrous metals industry, chemical industry, nuke industry, building material and light industry all has tails facilities. Tailing pond is a major hazard source in our country, tailing dam break is one of the main disasters caused by mining. It is significant to study on the seepage of the tailing dam which has a largely influence on people's lives and property safety. The seepage of two-dimensional consolidation of tailing dams are embedded researched, based on the projects of safety assessment of actually tailing ponds and the key project of safety science and technology in Hunan Province called "study on theory and method of safety assessment of tailing pond (HN08-27)" , which were participated in by the author. The main conclusions as follows:(1)The ecumenical and especial disciplinarian is proposed, based on analysis of the estate of the tailing accumulate, and point out the connection of seepage and the tailing grain, the consolidation estate of tailing, the interlayer of the particle tailing.(2)The basic analysis theory of Tailings dam stability is introduced and analysis of the tailings dam seepage consolidation theory. The model is proposed that the two-dimensional consolidation of the tailings dam seepage based on this theory, and use the principle of soil mechanic theory etc. to demonstrate the two-dimensional consolidation of the tailings dam seepage model.(3)The tailings dam seepage consolidation points is proposed based on the tailings dam of two-dimensional seepage model, and proposed finite element method of the two-dimensional tailings dam seepage consolidation, according to the high cost and high data requirements, it is difficult to reference into the projects, proposed the simplify calculation of two-dimensional tailings dam seepage consolidation, and demonstrates the feasibility of the simplified calculation, and pointed out the points of the simplified calculation method. Finally, the parameters are researched that for consolidation seepage analysis of tailings dam.(4)The two-dimensional tailings dam seepage consolidation model and simplified calculation method is applied to the calculation of the seepage of some tailing dams stability analysis which in Hunan Province. The results show that the trends and depth of the phreatic surface in tailing dam are more or less the same which by calculated and measured. The model and method is scientific and rational, it can be promoted to projects application.The two-dimensional tailings dam seepage consolidation model and calculation method is scientific and rational, it can give results in line with the actual. The research results in this paper can provide not only guidance for more accurately determine the phreatic line of tailings dam , but also relevant reference for the other study on the seepage field of tailings dam.
