Traffic safety is affected and the maintenance cost is increased by early damage of asphalt pavement of the highway in our country. In order to further comprehend mechanical behavior of early damage of asphalt pavement, the characteristics of asphalt pavement under the random dynamic load caused by pavement roughness is studied in the dissertation, and offer the reliable reference for the asphalt pavement design and maintenance. The main research work and conclusions in the dissertation were as follows:1. On the basis of Fourier inverse transformation method, random pavement roughness of different classification of highway pavement is simulated by MATLAB software using standard power spectrum.2.The vehicle is stimulated by Pavement roughness to cause the additional dynamic load, the quarter vehicle model was the basis of the analysis of the additional dynamic load, using MATLAB software program, it analyzed that the classification of highway pavement and vehicle speed had effect on additional dynamic load, the calculation result showed that the additional dynamic load increased with the lower classification of highway pavement, but the load was not increased with the speed increasing, it reached a maximum speed under a certain speed.3. Inputting vehicle random dynamic load as incentives, using the ANSYS software to build two-dimensional model, the dynamic response problem is analyzed in theory under the vehicle random dynamic load in the dissertation, and find out at the same pavement vertical displacement and vertical stress and strain of the early damage of asphalt pavement were reduced with vehicle speed increasing in different classification of highway pavement.4. The dissertation did a comparative analysis between numerical simulation result and the measured values (dynamical stress and dynamic strain) under the asphalt pavement, the result was anastomotic.
