Vehicle dynamic load is the main loads of the pavement, and the pavement is damaged due to the long-term effects of them. In recent years, along with the increase of traffic demand and overloading vehicles, the dynamic loads of vehicles were being increased. At the same time, the road surface load was not static load. So the paper simulated the road actual load condition and studied the interfacial mechanical behavior of asphalt pavement under heavy vehicle loading. The process of vehicle was essentially a process of interaction between vehicle and pavement. Sine-wave pavement was applied to describe the uneven situation, and it applied a quarter-vehicle vibration model to analyze the influence law of dynamic load coefficient based on the speed, tire damping suspension, tire stiffness and vehicle parameters by using MATLAB software. In view of the vehicle load conditions were different, it analyzed the change rule of vehicle dynamic load under no-load, half load and other different overload’s conditions.Based on the multi-layer elastic layered system, asphalt pavement structure was divided into the surface layer, base course, subbase and soil base. The 3D finite element model was established by using the finite element software ANSYS. It studied the action of the dynamic response of pavement structure under half sine wave load(mainly includes the dynamic displacement, dynamic stress and dynamic strain), and compared the difference with the response under the static load. It turned out that under the dynamic load, road surface deflection is less than the static load, and bottom tensile stress and compressive stress are slightly greater than the static load. Therefore, in the current pavement design, control the road surface deflection is conservative and safety, but control layer bottom tensile stress is small, it can’t exactly reflect the stress of pavement under dynamic load.
