According to the water-include distress field research and maintenance data acquisition of freeway from Beijing to Shanghai-Qingxian to Wuqiao section, the paper penetrates into analyzing its casuse and breakdown mechanism and summarizes the characteristic of water-include distress.The article makes analysis and comparison to three methods of road surface drainage, puts out the road surface drainage hydrologic and hydraulic calculation method by hydraulics theory, denotes the irrational section for pavement effluent flow velocity calculation in "Specifications of drainage design for highways",and makes research of the obscure points and irrationalities of discharge opening design in"Specifications of drainage design for highways"and"Design Specification for Highway Route", systematically points out computing formula and optimize proposal of freeway discharge section width which refers to different design speed and different breadth of road formal freeway.Based on the highway geometry design angle , the paper elaborates the poor superelevation design which is easy to cause the pavement surface drainage problem in highway superelevation design and conservative slope section, puts out optimization optimistic methods from geometry design which is profitable for pavement surface drainage.
