The existed Nanjiang Railroad located in the strong-winded area that so many trains had been blown out in recent years that Ministry of Railways intended to build the second line, which is in the location with stronger wind and many big long bridges, so windbreak fences are needed here to protect the trains' security. But those windbreak fences in Lanxin Railroad were not fit in the new line, so we have to make sure the style and height of windbreak fences to make best use.This article takes the aerodynamics principle as a foundation, uses the numerical simulation calculation to calculate aerodynamic forces of the train which moves on the railway-bridge under the windbreak fence and strong crosswind environment. It synthesizes the stable performance of four types of vehicles with windbreak fence or not.The article defined the most dangerous vehicle type under strong crosswind environment as well as secure speed of every type when wind speed changes.It is believed that the results of the research provide scientific and reliable gist for the settings of windbreak fence during the process of building the second line of Nanjiang Railroad.
