Sinter is the main raw material for blast furnace, and the quality of sinter will directly affects the production, quality and power consumption of blast furnace iron-making. But in real production, because of the sintering process which is influenced by numerous factors, is complex, making the analysis of quality become difficult. So the decision support system of sintering process is established in this paper to analyze the sinter quality. Significant results of the paper include:(1) Combined with sintering technical mechanism, this paper fully analyzed sinter quality associated with raw material and process parameters, a basic thought was proposed which used control chart analysis as center, and through data analyzing and mining method to analyze the courses of quality exception, designed the general structure of decision support system.(2) Described the design of sintering process quality control charts, and used Anderson-Darling method to verify the normality of the sintering data distribution, then, selected the alarm rules of control chart, and analyzed their mathematical significance. At last, the calculation method of control chart's parameter and mapping processes were given.(3) Quality control chart was used to analyze the quality data, this can get the exception information exited in the quality data. Aimed at the exception information, first, used principal component analysis and grey relevant analysis methods to analyze the sinter process data, ascertained the key parameter, then, a control chart exception diagnosis method based on grey relevant analysis was proposed to analyze the causes of the quality fluctuated.(4) Applied ASP.NET to complete the system development. Three-tier B/S distributed system architecture was used the system, and distributed through the Web server. Users can logon the system remotely, realize the management of the production. And role-based permissions framework could achieve the management of users and system modules, ensure the right access and security of the system.The system has been applied in the sintering process of large iron-steel enterprise. The running result verifies the system accord with industrial facts. The system, which is steady-going and reliable, can supervise production adjustment effectively.
