With the development of science technology, the increasing complication of the structure of machinery and its running requirements need accurate real time monitoring, in order to discover the hidden malfunction as soon as possible, identify fault correctly and find out the source of it. But in a long period of time, condition monitoring of the machinery and fault diagnosis are based on the analysis of the signal coming from single channel. The vibration of the rotor is a dimensional conception. The signal coming from single channel only reflects the vibration of the rotor in the sensor orientation, so it can't accurately offer integral information. As a result, the reliability of monitoring and diagnosis can't meet the demand of the practice. The key of settling the contradiction is to change status quo that the signal analysis is based on the single channel, and apply bran-new technology, information fusion, in the monitoring and diagnosis.The full vector spectrum descends from the combination of multiple sensor information fusion and the rotary theory of rotor and its dynamic characters. Multiple sensor information fusion means the fusion process of dynamic signals with the same source. Through the process, a deal of information of rotor vibration is picked up, accordingly the vibration of rotor can be characterized in full. Therefore, the vector spectrum can radically change the discontented state and make the monitoring and diagnosis accurate much more.In fact, the full vector spectrum comprises a series of analysis methods. In this paper, firstly, the method of the homologous data fusion on a section from theory, and then derive out the numeric arithmetic by compute machine, thus the vibration characters of this section are gain fast, which directed the diagnose of the faults. Secondly, the revolutionary vibration charactors of the two sections were studied, and the generative concrete form of the no-balance fault was distinguished by the initial phase. Thirdly, Based on its high sensitivity, distinguishing the positive/negative eddy of the rotor clearly, improving diagnosis speed and so on, a new method which could identify the vibration state of the rotary was proposed. The fault mechanics was studied deeply and it was applied to the experience of the fault diagnosis. The spectrum character of the fault diagnosis was additted and it was applied to the starting and stopping field. Finally, based on the vector spectrum theory, combining with the highest vector intensity of the rotor vibration, vector vibration and the revolution orbit, three new precession spectrum were proposed, which contained more information ,and their precession characters were researched. So they can distinguish effectively generative concrete form of the fault.It can be confirmed that, according to the revolution information(Main vibration vector, Minor vibration vector, Angle of vibration vector, precession, and so on) and the expended technology processing method of this article studying based on the full vector spectrum, the study of the full vector revolution information is a science technology owing the higher value of the research which faces the revolution machinery.
