At present, some research work on the durability of Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP)materials and FRP reinforcement structure has been carried out by domestic and foreign scholars, but the researchers are on a single durability of FRP composite materials research, and research on Hybrid Fiber Reinforced Plastic(HFRP) is relatively small, considerable research is quite weak,just started. And the test methods, test conditions and the materials selected are different, so these data can not be comparised basically, and it is difficult to set up aging conditions in a typical model of performance deterioration for FRP Materials. Moreover the test data in long-term durability of the natural environment are few, the test correlation results between the artificial rapid aging and the unaccelerated aging are more rare, so the synchronistically and systematically research on the FRP material under the typical environment the short-time test and the unaccelerated aging experiment is lack. In view of the above, it will be important theoretical significance and engineering application value to research durability of HFRP Materials, which can exert the respective advantages of General CFRP and GFRP high-strength, high-ductility systematically. In response to these questions, durability of hybrid fiber(the carbon/glass fiber) reinforced composite materials and bonding with concrete is studied include the following aspects of the research work:1. At erosion environment, HFRP sheet properties are carried out, and the erosion environment including temperature (dry heating, water heating, low temperature), chemical medium (pH = 3, pH = 6, pH = 9, pH = 12, artificial seawater, artificial water cycle of wet and dry), the natural aging of the environment. The thickness of the destruction HFRP characteristics, tensile strength, elastic modulus, as well as the effects of ductility is studied under different parameters of the different conditions, etching time, different proportions, and the same proportion of different parameters on the thickness of the destruction HFRP characteristics by 20 groups of HFRP sheet tensile test. The results showed that: In addition to drying temperature environment, higher tensile strength, elastic modulus quantitative large, the other research results with the opposite circumstances.2. The capacity of HFRP bonding with concrete, strain distribution, the effective bond length is studied at the temperature(-20°C), acid solution (pH=3) and alkaline solution (pH=12) environment, the same proportion of different bonding width, length and other parameters on the viscosity , through HFRP bonding with concrete performance tests. The results showed that: From the analysis on capacity, strain distribution and the effective length ,after the low-temperature (-20°C), the acidic solution(pH=3), alkaline solution(pH= 12)erosion one month,we can see that the three environments, acidic environment on the durability of the bonding is a greater impact indicators, while the low temperature and alkaline environment on the durability of the above-mentioned bonding indexes is smaller.3. Based on the existing research on evaluation model of research on durability of HFRP and bonding behavior Between FRP and Concrete, comparatively analysis, combined with the results of this pilot study, a more reasonable model assessed the durability of FRP is improved to the evaluate the Durability of HFRP materials,whichi is more complex.The research works described in this paper were supported by Henan Province Key Technology R&D Program (072102230026).
