Low-voltage power line carrier communication uses existing low-voltage distribution lines (220V or 380V AC power lines) as a communication medium and implements the communications technology of data, voice, image and other integrated business and it is a hot technology having a broad application prospect. This paper describes the basic principle and research status of ant colony algorithm in detail, analyzes the material characteristic of low-voltage power line communication network and the demand in routing choice, introduces ant colony algorithm into low-voltage power carrier communication, and proposes a dynamic and distributed routing algorithm for low-voltage power line communication network. This algorithm combines direct communication, indirect communication to searching address with ants, adopts a new route strategy of gradual renewal and link renewal, possesses the ability of dynamic maintenance of the network route for power lines carrier communication. The algorithm which designs different data frames for different models of searching, adopts the distributed control strategy, effectively reduces the control expense of data communication, has the characteristic of looking-up table simple, self-organization, automatic optimization and high real-time.LonWorks is the most widely used field bus technology in the field of low-voltage power line carrier communication. It is a local control network which was developed by Echelon as a local area network control system. The paper designs the management platform based on Lonworks control network after raising PLC network routing algorithm, which comprises the USB client application, USB device driver and intelligent network adapter. Intelligent network adapter is made of Neuron 3150 and CY7C68013, includes software design and hardware design, strengthens and improves communication management, and saves time. The management platform adopts the USB driver provided by CYPRESS Company. USB client application which is compiled by VC++6.0 establishes communication with Mini EVK board through the network adapter in the power line, collects the temperature of the Mini EVK board and control the LED in the Mini EVK, and achieves the functions of data collection, preservation, display, and print. It is able to reduce the costs of system development and maintenance, and have the characteristic of transmission speed, hot-swappable, plug-and-play, easy to expand, less system resources.
