This thesis is based on guided transformation of one type rocket. With the use of ARM microprocessor, the software design and hardware design of TV-guided rocket launch-control device are researched in this thesis. As a supporting equipment of TV-guided rocket, launch-control device is used to detect on the ground and launch the TV-guided rocket. A set of visual man-machine interaction, intelligent, portable launch-control device of TV-guided rocket using embedded technology is researched in this thesis.The overall design of launch-device is completed. The basical function and technical requirements of the launch-control device are discussed in this thesis. The ARM microprocessor performance is analysed and S3C2410A is selected as the core. Hardware and software design are completed in this thesis. Hardware design includes core board and bottom board which is based on the core board design. The core board is composed by the ARM9 processor, SDRAM, NAND Flash, JTAG and clock modules. Power module, USB interface, LCD interface, serial interface, Ethernet controller and other peripheral interfaces are designed on bottom board. Embedded Linux OS is the platform of software. Bootloader, linux kernel and file system are transplanted to S3C2410A.Hardware and software system of launch-control are debugged. The test results are gived, which show that the hardware circuit is working correctly, Linux OS is transplanted successfully and the application runs fast and steadily. Launch-control device achieves the desired function.
