Steel-frame plywood formwork is a new formwork, it is widely used in current formwork construction projects in industrialized countries,and occupies 60%.This formwork consists of two main parts:1,steel-frame structure:It is welded by cold roll-forming or hot-rolling steel-frame.2,plywood panel.They are connected by bolts or rivets. In the construction,we use some accessories, such as alignment coupler and compensation waler, to strengthen the formwork's mechanical properties.The traditional design of this formwork is based on the empirical formula,it take the frame as continuous beam, panel as one-way or two-way pannal, but the structure isn't considered as an integral structure,the safety coefficient of the calculation is too large, and the utilization rate of the formwork's material is too low.By analyzing the structure of the formwork. According to the finite element theory, I use a new method to take the steel-frame plywood formwork as beam-slab structures,by using the Ansys software, to modle,mesh,and define the load according to the actual working conditions,Then, in order to further understand the mechanics properties of this formwork, I take the position of the bolts and the size of frame section as parameters,by using Ansys,to optimize the formwork and seek the contact between the parameters and its mechanical properties. The Opt of the formwork consist of three aspects:1.fix the frame's node location to optimize the cross-section shape,2.fix the cross-section of the frame to optimize the frame's node location.3.optimize the rib's number,alter the position to improve mechanical properties of the formwork.According to the opt's result, we made a formwork. Based on the laboratory condition, I simplify the actual load,use the hydraulic loading device to apply load,and collect the testing data to verify the correctness of the simulation by comparing the testing data with the simulation data. The result verifys using ansys-simulation for the formwork's design is an effective way,this study is good for the development and engineering applications of new formwork.
