China occur natural disasters frequently, as well as with wide range territory and large population. With the rapidly economic development, speeding up of urbanization and the growing interdependence within the social system of china. The damage caused by natural disasters is also growing. In this paper, the typical structure under the influence of the South sonw disaster and the Wenchuan earthquake occurred in 2008 are analyed, and some advices are suggested from the point of disaster emergency response view.In this paper, two type of steel structure which is light-weitht portal frame and transmission line tower are analyzed under the sonw disaster. As to the light-weitht portal frame, the character and reason of damage is analyzed from the value of snow load factor and whether to consider torsion and warping stress while check the strength and stability of purlin. As to the transmission line tower, the causes of damage and the failure modes are analyzed from the tower space and type and the non-unifrom ice, while the transmission line are studied.It's very grieved that heavy casualties caused by a large of school building collapse. In this paper, the seismic behavior of the single span structure with cantilevered corridor and the two-span structure with cantilevered corridor with coulmn are Pushover analyzed. By comparing the storry-drift-angle and the seismic performance point of the two type of fram, it shows that the seismic performance of the two-span sturcture with cantilevered corridor with coulmn is much better than the single span structure with cantilevered corridor. From the point of conceptual design view, some advices about seismic design of school building are suggested.At last, the mechanism of building under the snow disaster and the Whenchuan earthquake is analyzed, and the status of emergency management at home and aborad is introduced. Learn from the successful experience of Emergency Management of other country, and some advice are put forward to improve the disaster emergency reponse mechanism of our country.
