Gas-steam combined cycle power plant and natural gas network are mutual influenced and restricted, so that researched for it coupling characteristic has the important meaning for directing coordinate work between combined cycle power plant and natural gas network. This paper analyzes and calculates the load scope of the combined cycle power plant restrained by the natural gas network supply capacity, and lead fuel consumption model of the gas-fired power plant in the natural gas network model analyzed natural gas network pressure surge impacted by the gas-powered plant operate mode. This paper indicated that combined cycle unit have the regulate capacity for the consumption of natural gas under the premise of thermal load. In addition, we can reduce the pressure shock of the natural gas network caused by gas-powered plant variable load operate if the natural gas dispatcher supply gas ahead of time by generation schedule in constant flowrate mode.
