Fuchunjiang qililong tunnel is blocked by a power dam,so building a navigable tunnel is put on the agenda to meet the requirements of shipping. Considering the large scale of the navigable tunnel (navigable width-20m, navigation height-7m, navigable depth-3.5m), there is no precedent in the domestic, besides, no appropriate design standards could be referred at home and abroad. Especially for the study to navigable tunnel on human evacustion and the safety of the structure after fire explosion, there is little experience to draw on. In this thesis,as for the characteristics of the tunnel, the study on human evacuation and the safety of the structure to navigable tunnel after fire explosion is carried out. The main research content and conclusions are as follows:(1) The Setting modes of Evacuation channel include horizontal connecting passage, vertical means of escape, on the lower interoperability and comprehensive evacuation routes of escape. According to the characteristics of the tunnel,considering the security and economic factors, the sidewalk is recommended inside the tunnel to escape vertically.(2) The spread of smoke inside the tunnel is studied, and then the vault temperature inside the tunnel and ventilation measures under fire conditions is discussed. Results have shown that person load is not huge, while the fire load of the ship is much larger.The high temperature caused by fire could damage the tunnel lining structure.While fire happens in the tunnel, on the one hand the scale of the fire should be controlled to reduce the fire power, on the other hand ventilation measures should be taken to reduce the vault temperature and the average smoke temperature aroud the fire.(3) The human evacuation after fire explosion is studied and the management approaches on tunnel fire safety are discussed. The result is that the requirements of evacuation could also be met even if the tunnel for helping escape is not set. It is recommended to take an escape platform,the width of wich is 1.5m,but not to use the helping escape tunnel. It's muck likely to explode for oil tank fire.Considering the safety of human,the equipment such as fire clothes should be prepared to save themselves for the person on tank in case of the dangerous situation.(4) The impact of fire explosion to the bearing capacity of tunnel lining structure is discussed.The protection to vault under high temperature in fire should be enhanced,especailly for the lining structure of which the cross-section span is much too large. The fire resistance of concrete should be improved and the impact of the fire to lining structure should be lightened.The corresponding measures should be taken on fireproofing,firecontrolling,fireavoiding,fireresisting.(5) The durability of the tunnel structure is analysed from the cracks, concrete carbonation, erosion of the environment. The durability of the tunnel lining structure could be improved from the design of the lining structure, durable concrete materials, using anti-carbonation protective coating and so on.The content and results of the thesis could be referred for the design and building of the Fuchunjiang qililong tunnel.It is of great significance to the study on human evacuation and the safety of the structure after fire explosion to the similar tunnel.
