With the development of transport services,more and more highway tunnelsemergence,coupled with a surge in traffic,making the highway tunnel’s safety has become thefocus of public attention.Although the current domestic and international road tunnel fireevacuation personnel have done some research,but most researchers still use temperature orCO concentration thresholds to determine the conditions as safe escape,or just consider one ofthe injury to personnel,so while simplifying the research process,but it is clearly inconsistentwith the actual evacuation process and can not reveal the risk of escape. Although somedomestic norms has given reference value for highway tunnel safety evacuation facilities,butits availability is yet to be confirmed.How to determine the safety parameters of highwaytunnel evacuation facilities from the view of safety point in line with China’s nationalconditions,has become imminent.Firstly,this paper summarizes the tunnel fire safety evacuation conditions used in thecurrent study,and obtained a new way to judge the safty of escape basis by analyzing andcomparing,taking temperatures and CO injury to personnel.Secondly,by setting typical firescenarios of the tunnel,using PHOENICS software for numerical simulations of the smokeand temperature fields in the tunnel under different ventilation wind tunnel fire. Then,basedon the above security escape criterion for personnel,this paper studied the available securityevacuation time and the risk of evacuation in different locations.Finally,this paper summarized the safe evacuation facilities of the current highway tunneland made a classification,got a simplified model derived tunnel evacuation facility forparameter calculations through simplification.And on the basis of simulation data obtained bythe analysis of the ability to evacuate the evacuation ports have different risk evacuation atdifferent settings of the spacing,and then draw a set of different parameters of the evacuationfacilities.
