Cemment and Asphalt mortar is one of the key components in the structure of ballastless slab track, with the function of supporting, shock-absorbing and geometrical adjusting of track structure, and it holds tremendous potential in the construction of high-speed railways of China. A high proportion of organic materials (viz. asphalt) are present in the hardened structure of Cemment and Asphalt mortar, rendering its properties viscoelastically characterized and strongly dependent on loading patterns and temperatures. Based on Chinese climate characteristics and the in-situ loading patterns from high-speed trains, research on the viscoelastic principle and performance of Cemment and Asphalt mortar is carried out in the thesis, which bears great significance in the preparation of highly durable Cemment and Asphalt mortar. An ideal model on the distribution of asphalt in the matrix of Cemment and Asphalt mortar is established and a method is put forward to indicate the temperature susceptibility of the mechanical properties of Cemment and Asphalt mortar. Furthermore, the viscoelastic principle of Cemment and Asphalt mortar is elucidated, facilitating the analysis of influencing factors. Results indicate that optimization of the relative proportion of free asphalt and structural asphalt and improvement in the thermal stability of asphalt emulsion are the two key techniques for the preparation of high temperature stability.Based on Time-Temperature Superposition Principle, Arrhenius Equation and sigmoidal Function, the master curve of the elastic modulus of Cemment and Asphalt mortar is constructed and the shifting factors are figured out by fitting elastic modulus under different temperatures and loading frequencies, which provides a platform for the investigation of the mechanical properties in a wider scale of time and temperatures, and also a theoretical foundation for the study of high-temperature static creep and low-temperature crack.Considering the temperature-dependent behavior of the early age properties, especially workability and early volume stability, of Cemment and Asphalt mortar, the thesis studies the influence of ambient temperature and mixing mechanism and master the techniques to regulate the workability and early age volume change, which provides guidance for the preparation and in-situ construction of Cemment and Asphalt mortar.
