With the rapid development of high-speed railway construction in China, the ballastless slabtrack become an important developing direction of the railway high-speed by virtue of its orbitsmoothness, the stiffness uniformity and the track geometry durability, reducing maintenanceworkload etc. Slab track is made of prefabricated track slab, the convex block platform betweenconcrete base and track slab, and CA mortar as a fill layer. The cement asphalt mortar (more oftenknown as CA mortar) is a new organic-inorganic composite grout material, which is form by cementand asphalt cement, two cementitious materials gluded and hardened. And mechanical mix it on-site,the main raw materials are cement, asphalt emulsion, fine aggregate, expansion agent, air entrainingagent and admixture. With the large-scale construction of high-speed railway in China, CA mortartechnology is an urgent need to focus on research and development.Papers undertook a targeted pilot studies on the emulsified asphalt cement mortar’s compositionand performance. Through the system research on the special emulsifying asphalt preparation of CAmortar, emulsified asphalt cement mortar mixture ratio experimental research and chloroprenerubber modification emulsified asphalt cement mortar. It is a lay a foundation for such organic andinorganic compound material’s mixture ratio design, preparation and further study. The mainconclusions from this paper are as follows:(1) Stated the interaction of the various materials of the neoprene modification emulsifiedasphalt cement mortar in cementing sclerosis. Studied modification mechanism of the neoprenemodification emulsified asphalt of the cement mortar, and discussed modified model of the neoprenemodification of CA cement mortar, this paper establishes the theory basis for the future study.(2) Combined with the existing test conditions, studied the performance influence of theemulsifying asphalt by different types of emulsifier and production process of factors. Based on thetest results and the theory of predecessors’ experience, finally prepared the CA mortar specialcationic emulsifying asphalt which meet related standards. Through the relevant index of the test,testified the emulsifying asphalt accord with standard conditions, also has good storage stability andexcellent cement adaptability, can meet the preparation of CA mortar needs under different climatesin China.(3) Adopting specialized emulsifying asphalt which developed by ourselves, and through themix proportion design, doing lots of experiments of emulsified asphalt mixing cement mortar, the experimental results indicate that the mixed quantity of emulsified asphalt has greater influence onCA mortar performance, according to relevant standards, determined the mixed quantity ofemulsified asphalt cement accounting the50%of cement mix quantity; Aluminum powder alsoaffects the performance of the mixed quantity mortar, when the mortar curing temperature be10to30℃, the ratio of aluminium should be0.5%~1.5%.(4) Through the modified test for CA mortar by adding neoprene latex, finding out the influenceregular pattern of every performance of the synthetic rubber latex mixed CA mortar, achieving thepurpose of improve the performance of CA cement mortar. Finally determined the best mixture ratioof neoprene modification emulsified asphalt is B4.
