Brushless DC motor replaces the mechanical commutation of brush DC motor with electronic commutation. It has been widely used in all areas of the national economy because of its excellent speed performance. For brushless DC motor control, scholars have done a lot of research, which is becoming mature. In recent years, with Ethernet technology into the industrial control field, getting rid of the limitations of location and space in the traditional industrial control, modern motor control system begins to develop network. However, Ethernet has the uncertain time delay, bringing certain extent of control performance in brushless DC motor.This paper introduces the principle of brushless DC motor control, characteristics and problems of NCS. It also analyzes the impact of network delay on the stability of the system. In brushless DC motor for the controlled object, the paper builds a network control simulation model, and study the network delay on the performance of the motor control system.Then, based on the network delay, BP neural network prediction model combined with Fuzzy PID control is designed to compensate the network delay. Using BP network model, the paper establishes the speed prediction model of the brushless DC motor and compensates the network delay of the forward channel and feedback channel, using good features in the fuzzy PID like self-adaptability, robustness. The simulation analysis shows that this control strategy has a better compensation for the impact of network delay, which makes the dynamic performance of the system improve.The brushless DC motor controller is designed with over-voltage, under voltage, overload, and short circuit protection. It takes DSP TMS320F2812 as the main controller, PS21562 module as the inverter circuit. Furthermore, this paper designs the Ethernet interface circuit used W5100, realized the Ethernet communication of the controller and the remote control terminal. Finally, the structure of the remote monitoring system is selected by C/S mode and programmed by Socket. It realizes the remote control of the brushless DC motor. At last this paper conducts the system testing for the whole system.
