With the continuous development of rail transport technology, It is inevitable for electric locomotive to various fault, and serious result might be caused by its faults, so on-line fault diagnosis is a very important proof of its runing safety. In this paper, According to characteristics of locomotive failures, made petri net locomotive fault diagnosis.This paper is based the theory of Petri net,and made a major study of the Petri net in fault diagnosis, In regard to the characteristics of failure for the locomotive, made the traditional Petri net model is extended to the field of fault diagnosis Petri net model, derived its mathematical description. Given the analysis of the synthesis of fuzzy production rules of the Petri net means and the fuzzy Petri net definition, Finally, Petri net-based diagnostic inference, and the establishment of a Fault Diagnostic, The algorithm has parallel reasoning that the dynamic calculation of confidence level and the ignition mechanism, dynamic reasoning, greatly enhance the speed and efficiency of reasoningArticle based the systematic analysis of the SS4 locomotive characteristics of the working principle and circuit, With fault tree analysis to establish the locomotive were the main circuit fault model, fault model power supply system, traction/ braking system failure model. According to the fault of discrete dynamic transfer characteristic and the dynamic concurrent Petri net description of a fuzzy Petri net reasoning algorithm to fault diagnosis of the locomotive system. The main circuit were established locomotive system, power supply system, traction/braking system fault diagnosis system of fuzzy petri net and its fault diagnosis, diagnostic results obtained, and finally integrated the various subsystems of the locomotive system fault diagnosis. According to the failure of discrete dynamic transfer characteristic and the dynamic concurrent Petri nets, Petri nets proposed fuzzy reasoning algorithms to fault diagnosis of the locomotive system. The establishment of locomotive were the main circuit fault diagnosis system, power supply system, traction/braking system fault diagnosis system of fuzzy petri nets,and their fault diagnosis, diagnostic results obtained. Finally integrated subsystems, and fault diagnosis system of locomotive.Been validated, it can be concluded:that the proposed fuzzy Petri net approach for locomotive fault diagnosis is successful.
